The Video Content Creator Student Assistant assists in all steps of the video content creation cycle, working with senior staff to script videos, filming, editing, publishing, and compiling metrics on performance. An ideal candidate is a strong communicator who likes working with a team and is passionate about telling STEM stories. Beyond supporting video content creation, this role may be called on to assist in art and design work as well as special event delivery.
The Surrey Development Student Assistant will deliver one-day and off-campus programming, oversee logistics for one-day events, supervise all aspects of our clubs during the academic year – through supporting clubs instructors through various ways like training, developing curriculum, budgeting and materials ordering, booking mentors, and managing volunteers.
Outreach Instructors are among our frontline staff, delivering week long STEM programming to youth across British Columbia. Those in this role have a special focus on working in rural areas and with at-risk and Indigenous youth, often carrying out their duties without direct on-site supervision. This position is open to both co-op and non co-op individuals.
Our Kelowna Programming Student Assistant is responsible for delivering one-day and on- and off-campus programming, overseeing logistics for events, supervising our clubs during the year, training club instructors and high school volunteers, and supporting Club Instructors with developing curriculum, booking mentors, budgeting, etc.
