What is Integrated Engineering?
Integrated engineering is a multidisciplinary field of engineering focused on combining multiple fields of engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biological, and more to solve real-world problems society is facing today. At the UBC Vancouver campus, Integrated Engineering was designed to equip students with a wide range of knowledge and strong technical skills to enter the workplace with the ability to adapt to changes in society. Participants may explore the advancements and discoveries in robotics, machines, chemical and biological processes, and product design, and how all these interact together to create meaningful solutions for people. This stream may also look at the economical and societal impacts on the changing community and on the engineering industry.
