Let’s Talk Tech!: A CanCode Event

March 10, 2017

Calling all girls between grades 4 – 10! Join us for half-day workshops of tech-focused excitement! We are hosting workshops focused on how 3D printers are changing the way we design solutions. We will connect the engineering design process with the usage of digital tools through multi-disciplinary activities.

Grade 8 girls are invited to join us and explore the exciting and fun opportunities engineering offers. Participants will explore hands-on problem-solving activities and meet engineering students and professionals. Come explore engineering with us.

Grade 10 girls – join us for an exciting day of exploration. Find out more about this expanding field. Get creative and participate in fun engineering activities. Tour engineering labs, connect with other like-minded students, and talk to current engineering students and professors who will share their stories and experience.

Girls Only Makeathon!: Tech for Health

On June 4th, Geering Up hosted our first ever makeathon, an integration of an extended design challenge and a traditional hackathon. Open to all high school girls! More information can be found here.
