Indigenous Outreach Coordinator

Five year's ago, Geering Up worked in two Indigenous Communities. Today our programming is delivered in over twenty Indigenous Communities reaching 2,000 Indigenous youth. To help support these relationships, Geering Up is hiring an Indigenous Outreach Coordinator. Responsibilities of this position include setting up outreach programs, connecting with communities, hiring and training students, and assisting with the reporting and grant writing that makes it all possible. Because of the importance of in-person connections, this position will also be expected to travel to assist in program delivery and set up. An ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in outreach work and experience working in Indigenous communities.

Admin Support 2 (Finance Clerk and Front Desk)

We're looking for someone to help us manage our finances and run the front desk. Responsibilities include: assisting with timesheets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, while also assisting with parent communications at our front desk. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while gaining administrative experience. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys creating systems and problem-solving. This position is new to us, so there is still a lot of room for growth. Many systems will be built for the first time. If you have any questions about this position, we would love to hear from you.
